What type of bmx bike is best for me?

Hey everyone I’m looking to get back in shape since i really let myself go. I’m 5′9 and weigh 215lbs. I was wondering if someone could help show me what type of bike to purchase. I’m mostly just going to ride around town get a workout on it im not looking to do tricks or anything and i don’t want a mountain bike. So i would appreciate it if someone could pick the best bmx bike for me. THANKS!

    I don’t think I would go for a BMX to get around town in. I was looking for one too but they told me it’d be uncomfortable after all of the riding.

    I’m in the exact same spot as you and I’m looking to get a “Hybrid” bike.
    It’s a cross between a mountain bike and a street bike (with added comfort).

    Ok if your going to ride around town, like the person said below. it will be very tiring then riding a mountain bike or something else since you have to stand alot going up hills etc.

    A bmx is ment for tricks, thats why you see alot of them in local bike shops are quite alot. If you want a bmx, i’m sure when you sell it you want a alrite or good price for it. so i would get a brand that would sell ebay or something.

    What i seen and experience, mongoose is the way to go
    if you don’t like that brand, you can go to your local bike shop and ask. they should tell you what will go for money Dazz1808
