SImon K asked:

I am looking to do a motorcycle trip from London to Sydney via Turkey, Iran , Pakistan, India , Thailand etc.

I want to get a cheap second hand bike (Year irrelevant) that will just go and go and has been known for it’s durability and reliability hence the Toyota Corrola of motorcycles. Any engine size welcome!

Any Thoughts?

If you were looking at a starter bike that is cheap,I would do a Katana. If you are looking more for a nice bike and you have experience with them I would do a Honda CBR 600 or 750. Depends on how much power you want. But just to enjoy a trip and have fun I would do the 600 or 750 and they are very well known, beautiful bikes and you will get a lot of looks…… We started out with a Katana, then got a 600,and moved up to a 750.Only difference is the power…..
