I want a bmx bike to around the city and hit some trails. I was thinking a 24 cruiser. suggestions?

I want a bmx bike. They look awesome Ill be in Eugene, OR and am going to be riding around the city commuting and messing around so i want something tight and fast, I also want to hit some trails. I used to have a dirt jump (specialized p2 longframe- way to slow heavy and clunky) I don’t know what bike to get or even what direction to go in. Thanks
