    it depends on how tall and how heavy you are. also it depends on what type of”bmx” bike you want, freestyle or just plain bmx. freestyle is heavier and tougher and more advanced, but plain bmx is lighter, less advanced. if you’re going to get one, don’t get the crappy ones at target or walmart, get the bike from a bike shop.
    I traded by mountain bike in for a bmx bike because I like the simplicity of the bmx bike. It is lighter and more reliable because there are less components to break
    Sell your mountain bike on craigslist and you will have money for your bmx
