Help building a professional LIGHT WEIGHT bmx bike?

I would like to get any suggestions/help/advice that you may have for building a light weight professional bmx bike (freestyle/skatepark). What companies should i look for? What are some key things that I should know before i start building my bmx bike? (willing to spend about 500$ give or take 50$) any ideas are appreciated!

How do I make my bike breaks lock up better (for bmx tricks)?

I do flatland bmx and I just bought a new bike, and on this bike the breaks (front in particular) only slides, and doesnt lock very well, which makes it harder to get the back wheel off the ground. I’ve tried tightening my breaks, but are there any other things I can do?

why do bmx’rs and skaters seem to put down people who are barely starting out in bmx or skateboarding?

I see alot of kids telling other kids they suck and putting them down instead of encouraging them or giving them advice on how to do some tricks. I bmx and I didnt know how to do anything when I first started. I’m trying to learn how to manual and I’m looking on you tube on “how too’s” and I see alot of them talking crap, I just dont get why people would do that, I try and help out kids whenever I see them have trouble.
