Mr. R asked:

Okay I am 6′2” and I weigh a little over 230 pounds. I am looking to get into bmx freestyle and racing seeing as how I already do both for blades. I am wondering since im so big should I need bigger shocks or a heavier duty frame to support my weight? Also what is a good but cheap in price brand. I don’t wanna spend over 250 for the entire bike. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I have a bike, not the best but a great starter bike that i had gotten for christmas. I am wondering should i buy a whole new complete bike for $300-$500 off of dans comp. Or should i just start with buying a frame, then forks and so on? Which would be best?
